Reaper Mud Run

Hi Guys,

We are organising a Red Corner Team to take on the 10k Reaper Obstacle Course Race on the 6th October. It’s for a charity very close to our hearts, Zoe’s Place.

The Reaper Obstacle Course Run is different from anything else, and different every time you cross the start line, as the course is never designed or built the same way twice. This ensures the challenge remains fresh and there will always be that element of uncertainty – can you beat the Reaper… again?

It will be a challenge for novice and seasoned mud-runners alike, taking you to the edge of endurance with rugged cross-country terrain, demanding obstacles and plenty of mud. You should expect the course to be around 10km, with at least 40 obstacles, which will challenge you physically and sometimes mentally.

The Reaper is the only mud-run to offer both day and night events on the same date, meaning you can beat the Reaper twice – once in the cold light of day, and once on his terms – in the dead of night. Once you’ve completed the day run and are covered in mud, why not stick around and take on the Reaper again – twice the challenge, double the reward!

And just in case you were wondering, The Reaper was and will always be the original Night Time OCR.

The Reaper has several devilishly-good photographers stationed at points around the course, capturing your mud-covered image to prove to your friends that you took on the Reaper and survived. Use it as a challenge for them to do the same next time. All event photographs are available for free download from the Reaper FaceBook page.

The Reaper is returning with their NEW “Family Wave” for 6-15 yr olds.  Let your muddy monsters take on a 5k section of the adult course. Each child will need to be accompanied by a paying adult, each adult may accompany up to 3 children.

This is an event that most of the Red Corner Instructors & members have already registered for. We are expecting it to be a fun day so please register and join us if you can! If decide to raise money for the charity or not, it’ll be a great day out☺️
